I loved the interaction between Zara and her three friends and also the ups and downs with the men in her life. I totally fell in love with Brett and can’t wait for the sequel to be published to find out how the story progresses.

Rekindling Connections was perfect weekend reading for me! I was away at the Festival of Romantic Fiction when I was reading this fab book and I am so glad I had it with me! Nicky Abell-Francis has created some fantastic characters who are both interesting and entertaining. I loved how the reader is given a glimpse into Zara’s background and I felt this really helped to get to know her character a little bit better as we don’t just find out the history behind the girl but it helps to shape her personality and the sort of person she is. Throw in polo players and what more could a girl ask for!
Zara’s group of girlfriends create some funny moments in the book and reminded me of the great group of friends I have! There are quite a few laugh out loud moments. The opening scene in the book will get you hooked instantly as poor Zara wakens up from a drunken night during her hen party to find a naked man in her bed! Now, who wouldn’t want to know how that happened! As if that isn’t enough, the beautiful cover grabs your attention too! With the right amount of secrets, lust, passion and romance this is a great read and highly recommended!

At first the episodic nature of this book had me confused but I ended up hooked on this book. I found Brett super sexy and he’s rocketed to the top of my fictional want list. Abell-Francis plots Zara’s journey in a fun but satisfying way, filling in the holes as she goes and I promise you that you’ll be left dying for more!

Purchased this book for the wife a while back as a holiday read. After a slow start she soon became more attached to the book than she did me! She’s since asked me to find more from this author, don’t know how to take that ……. but she assures me it was a worth while read……

This was a jolly romp and after the first bit of scene setting got well into its stride. Quite sexy in parts an enjoyable pool side read with a cold glass of wine by my side . Would recommend!

Perfect holiday read, light hearted and some interesting characters with a fun and exciting story line. A book which is difficult to put down as you always want to know what’s going to happen next. Looking forward to sequel.
